The PiKoder/PPM wRX is a WLAN receiver with an eight channel PPM output which has been designed to replace the traditional R/C receiver in an UGV or UAV. The PPM output stream of the receiver can in most instances connect directly to a flight controller. In concert with the JoystickRC-App you can easily control your model with a Joystick connected to your computer.

The PiKoder/SSC wRX is a complete receiver based on the PiKoder/SSC which has been designed with the idea of an easy integration into an existing radio controlled model. In combination with the udpRC-App you can build a radio control with your Android smart device as a transmitter.

Based on typical WiFi modules used in smart devices with about 20 dBm (100 mW) power output this radio control would have a range of up to a few hundred meters. In this configuration the receiver acts as an access point to which the Android device would connect.
