The PiKoder/PPM wRX is a WLAN receiver which has been designed to replace the traditional R/C receiver in an UGV or UAV and thus to enable your Android Smart Device to interact with the model's flight controller replacing the traditional R/C transmitter.

In concert with the udpRC-App you can easily control your model with your Android device and the udpRC4UGV-App interfaces with your Rover's ArduPilot Mega through your smart phone or tablet.

The PiKoder/SSC wRX is a complete receiver based on the PiKoder/SSC which has been designed with the idea of an easy integration into an existing radio controlled model. In combination with the udpRC-App you can build a radio control with your Android smart device as a transmitter.

Based on typical WiFi modules used in smart devices with about 20 dBm (100 mW) power output this radio control would have a range of up to a few hundred meters. In this configuration the receiver acts as an access point to which the Android device would connect.
